GarageBand is a fully equipped music creation studio right inside your Mac — with a complete sound library that includes instruments, presets for guitar and voice, and an incredible selection of session drummers and percussionists. GarageBand 4.1.1 or later - iTunes 7.5 or later - iPhone with software version 1.1.2 or later. Apple introduced Ringtone support into iTunes and the iPhone in September of this year. Podcasters, wannabe music stars, and GarageBand dabblers of all ages - it's that time again for Apple has released an update to your beloved application (bumping it to version 4.1.2).
I have a 2009 MBP, my sound has stopped working, its greyed out. I get startup sound so internal speakers are working. But in sound pref they are not listed.
I've read that opening GB and starting a project can fix this, but when I do I get this error 'Selected Driver not found (-10202)' then button 'Continue'. When I do continue I can create project etc but no sound.
I'm hoping its related to my sound problem, ie that fixing this will give me sound!!
